Astrocartography and location analysis
Astrocartography calculates the longitudes on Earth where the planets were rising, setting, or at their highest point at the moment of your birth. SENKRONASTRO uses these lines to help you compare candidate cities.
Place evaluation
You search for the cities you're considering by name and add them to a list. For each city, how close it sits to each planetary line is calculated in kilometers and labeled “strong,” “influential,” or “weak” based on that proximity.
If you like, you can choose a theme: career, relationships, education, finances, or health. The “Where should I live?” option, instead of waiting for you to supply a list, scans cities worldwide and ranks the ones that stand out.
Two different methods, two different confidence levels
Career and relationship themes rely on astrocartography's four classic lines (Ascendant, Descendant, Midheaven, Imum Coeli). These lines aren't defined for the education, finance and health themes; a less common secondary technique called Local Space is used for those instead. Which method a given result comes from is noted separately in the table.
Distance thresholds aren't a physical measurement - they're a common convention in this field. Results shouldn't be used on their own as the basis for a decision about moving, school or work.
