How SENKRONASTRO works
For an astrology interpretation to be trustworthy, the calculation it rests on must be correct first, and the interpretation must then stay faithful to that calculation. SENKRONASTRO keeps these two jobs separate.
AI doesn't do the calculation
Planetary positions, houses, aspects, orbs and dates are calculated with the Swiss Ephemeris library. This calculation is deterministic: the same input always produces the same output.
The calculation engine has been tested by comparing its output against a reference professional astrology software. Fixed sample charts are part of the automated test suite; if a change shifts the results, the tests catch it.
What is AI given, and what isn't it given?
The interpretation layer isn't given raw degrees - it's given prepared data: the planet's sign, house, retrograde status, and the aspect's type and orb. This means the model never needs to derive a sign or a date on its own.
The model is given explicit rules: don't add a planet, aspect or date that wasn't provided; don't state a certain outcome; don't pass judgment on matters like death, a medical diagnosis, or a definite financial result.
A second review
Every interpretation produced goes through an independent second review before it's shown to the user. The review checks five things: a fabricated sign, mixing up observations from different dates, a planet or aspect not present in the data, claims of certainty, and internal contradictions in the text. If a problem is found, the text is corrected.
This review reduces errors; it doesn't eliminate them. That's why the data behind every interpretation is shown underneath it: you can check it yourself whenever you're in doubt.
